Elaine Simmons Steiner

Elaine Simmons Steiner is an American painter and graphite artist. Specializing in landscape, still life, painting and drawing, she is known for her art movement “desertism” and her famous windmill paintings.


Steiner graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She attends classes at The Victor D'Amico Institute of Art in Amagansett, New York and is a student of Linda Capello. 


She is a member of the Parrish Art Museum and Guild Hall of East Hampton. 
Steiner lives and works in Jupiter, Florida and in Bridgehampton, New York.
